While we did take a hit in the count of our inventory, we are already working on  building it back up!

If you are interested in any of these designs for yourself, please do not hesitiate to ask if they can be created again for you. Although we will not be able to make them exactly the same, we can use some of the similar design elements to make sure you get what you want… but still something that is original!

Let me give you the basic information:

One of the benefits that many women enjoy the most is that it gives you and your girlfriends an excuse to get together to chit-chat, laugh, and to have a personalized shopping experience. Many of the hand-crafted pieces that we create would also be great one-of-a-kind gifts for the art and fashion-lover.

Hostess Rewards and discounts include an initial $35 of free jewelry just for hosting! You also get an additional $20 for any jewelry party booked from your party. Not only do you get these base-discounts, but a percentile discount is also included in your rewards: You get 15% of your guest total of $800 +, 10% of your guest total of $100-799 (pre-sales tax) towards jewelry for yourself. This is such a great way to stock up on unique and beautiful jewelry that you will love!

What does a Hostess do? Compile a guest list of friends, relatives, neighbors, coworkers, etc. Send Invitations ( I can provide postcard invitations), or E-vites! It requires a 2-3 hour block of time at your home — Open Houses work great! You also should provide beverages and a small, light snack for guests — Make it as simple as you would like! (a Minimum of 5 persons must purchase a minimum total of $150 to earn free or discounted jewelry.)

Last but not least, I think it is important we share with you some of our Springette/button rings. These things really do just POP up everywhere! Also, keep in mind…. these are only three of (at least!) 50 Springette rings available:

Some are classy and professional, some are elegant, some are playful, and some are just cute! It would be hard to find one that does NOT match any outfit!

A while ago I mentioned some a wooden block puzzle that I had created. I used a print of some of my own 2-D collage art work for each side. This experiment was obviously very personal. And while I am very familiar with the images (being that I created them), and while I am very familiar with the block set up (being that I created it myself), I still have the hardest time putting the thing together! It requires quite a bit of focus, but will be stunning on our living room table. I’ve decided I need a very comforting and cozy box to but them in! It will be our more entertaining, more personal, more “artistic” version of a “coffee table book.”

The more and more I think about it, I feel confident that these can be made into “easier to put together” images. Not necessarily uninteresting – but with more recognizable things in them.

Or how cool it would be to do it for a friend for their birthday! A picture of them as a baby, a picture of the two of you, a picture of their favorite things…. boats, paint brushes, and tea cups!

Or very fun favors at a wedding at the tables.. for kids and adults! – Or a gift for a couple of newlyweds with images from their wedding, proposal, etc. Or for a thirtieth anniversary.

I think these little blocks, though only an inch and a half each, have so much wonderful and sweet potential!

We are currently still working on perfecting our packaging for our magnet sets. Seems that magnets like to clump together, no matter how you package them! And while I am glad our magnets are strong, I wish they would stay put nicely until they meet a fridge!

We are making certificates of authenticity for our coaster sets, being that there will only be 12 sets of each style created.

We are working on getting some more professional pictures taken (Ennio is our professional!) of our new inventory for posting here, on our blog. I have just made some fun S&J’s wooden blocks which will be part of our new photographs.

Not only do we have AOTL this week, but we also have a jewelry party!

Here are a few samples of what is available, but know that we have at least triple what is shown here…. each and everyone of them different! Different colors, widths, heights, and layering is what makes these little guys so interesting!

Here are a couple of things that I made today – they are not being posted for sale in our shop, but will be available at the upcoming shoes mentioned previously (for dates and information, scroll down).

We recently had a show in Kerrville, Texas — The “Kerr County Market,” which was on June 26th. Check the record books, because it was hot outside! Thanks to everyone that came out and supported the local artists at the show!
We premiered one of our newest products at this show, which will continue to be a part of every set-up that we do (with the exception of jewelry parties – depending on the host’s request). We are now exploring our options with creative tile coasters. They are waterproofed with a 100% acrylic non-yellowing coat, and have soft felt circles on each corner to continue to protect your tabletops. After many different testers (my trials and errors) for the best way to achieve the look we wanted, Ennio came up with the solution and they look perfect. Not only are we exploring designing them with basic designs and professionally printed papers, but we are also beginning to tap into the beauty that can be created when we incorporate some of our 2-D work! They really are quite lovely!

We are creating them as established series. We we only be making 12 sets of each design, and each will be marked with their authenticity by numbering.

We have a few more upcoming shows -
One of which is in our hometown of New Braunfels, Texas! This will be our 2nd time to participate in a lovely gathering called “Art on the Loop” – For more info . We would love to see you come out, this is such a wonderful event and we can’t wait to be there!

Also, we have just finished another special order for wedding jewelry. The bridal party’s jewelry is quite beautiful! Each bridesmaid is wearing a black cocktail dress, each with different vibrant colored heels! The earrings are black hoops with crystal that are scattered that match each girls’ different colored shoes!
We will post pictures as soon as possible.

The most exciting thing of all is my exploration of making a 3-D puzzle out of 9 wooden cubes! Pics also to come later!!!
